A tourist attraction is a place of interest that tourists visit, typically for its inherent or an exhibited natural or historical significance, cultural value, natural or built beauty, offering leisure, or promoting the local culture, heritage, environment, and amusement.
A tourist information center, providing visitors to a location with information on the area’s attractions, lodgings, maps, and other items relevant to tourism. Often, these centers are operated at the airport or other port of entry, by the local government or chamber of commerce, or a place where members of the public can get information about an area, organization, activity, etc
