Fabric is defined as cloth or the basic framework of something. An example of fabric is cotton.
Essentially, the fabric is a material made of fibers that are used to make items such as clothing, shoes, bags, and homewares like bedsheets, cushions, and towels. It can be thick or thin, rough or smooth.
Examples of popular woven fabrics are chiffon, crepe, denim, linen, satin, and silk.

Different Types of Fabric.

-Chiffon. Chiffon is a sheer, lightweight, plain-woven fabric made from twisted yarn that gives it a slightly rough feel.
-Cotton. Known as the most popular material in the world, cotton is a light, soft natural fabric.
-Crepe.
-Denim.
-Lace.
-Leather.
-Linen.
-Satin.

A textile is something made by knitting, weaving, or crocheting fibers together. A textile is a cloth. The definition of textile is any material made of interlacing fibers, including carpet and geotextiles. Any woven or knitted fabric is a textile. It is also associated with the production of clothing.

Types of Textiles

Textiles are classified according to their component fibers into silk, wool, linen, cotton, such synthetic fibers as rayon, nylon, and polyesters, and some inorganic fibers, such as cloth of gold, glass fiber, and asbestos cloth.
